POWERTEK CONTROLS was incorporated on November 2000. The company, an ISO 9001:2015 certified, is coming under the category of small scale industries of Tamil Nadu. The promoters are professional engineers having served leading industrial houses for many years.

The Company has its administrative office and own manufacturing unit situated in Chennai with Branch Offices in Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.

Activities of the company include design, manufacturing and supply of Electrical Transmission & Distribution products includes LT/HT Switchgears, automatic and manually operated starters, auto-transformers for motor starting duty which are type-tested, Current and Potential transformers etc. and retrofitting of Oil/Air Circuit Breakers. The product range is shown in the annexure.

Ever since inception, the company has been supplying their LT & HT switchgears to various sectors such as hydro electric power projects, water boards, steel plants, and various other industries in the public and private sectors, and the performance has been acclaimed satisfactory by the end users.
